The SEC put "super intelligence" and tokenization on its 2027 exam list
What happenedOn October 23 the SEC's Division of Examinations published its fiscal 2027 priorities for its more than 34,000 registrants. New this year: examiners will look at how firms use advanced AI (which the report calls "super intelligence," or SI) in trading, advice, fraud detection and compliance, and at whether firms are ready for AI-generated phishing and deepfake voice and video. Tokenization appears for the first time, in clearing-agency exams and Regulation SCI reviews. The report does not mention crypto or digital assets by name.
✦ Ledger echoThe chronicle would read this as the regulator preparing to supervise a market where machines act inside the ledger and the ledger itself becomes tokenized. See

NoteThis is CryptEscrow's own announcement; we found no independent coverage yet.
